This Patchwork Reader was handmade in Cameroon exclusively for The Courtauld, inspired by our passion for learning and research.
Lovingly made by hand, textile designer Marie had the idea to create a doll for her daughter that would represent a mix of many cultures.
Due to the nature of Marie's work, each doll is unique in pattern and colour and designed to represent the multiplicity of faces.
Each doll is part of a limited edition of 15 and comes signed and numbered.
