Exclusive to The Courtauld, the limited edition print was developed in partnership with Alice Adams, to celebrate the landmark exhibition Abstract Erotic: Louise Bourgeois, Eva Hesse, Alice Adams.

This limited edition print is taken from a drawing, Untitled 2024, that Alice Adams created specifically for this project.

Since the 1960s, Alice Adams (American, b.1930) has created abstract drawings in pencil and markers against the grid lines of a lightweight graph paper. These delicate markings reference the chicken wire, mesh and chain-link fencing used in her radical sculpture of the period, and ultimately derive from her background as a weaver.

The paper for the edition was selected to recreate the attributes of the artist’s paper of choice.

Printed by King & McGaw in the UK to coincide with Abstract Erotic: Louise Bourgeois, Eva Hesse, Alice Adams. held at The Courtauld Gallery, London, 20th June –14th September 2025. Courtesy of Zürcher gallery, New York.

The artist has kindly donated the original drawing for the limited edition to the Courtauld Collection.

All profits from the prints go towards supporting The Courtauld.

All prints can be shipped to a UK address at an extra cost of £50. Those who require EU & international shipping will be charged £120.

Alternatively, a click & collect service will be available from The Courtauld Shop. All customers will be notified by e-mail when their print is ready to collect.

Please allow up to 28 working days from the date of purchase for all deliveries and click & collect.

Prices of the artwork are liable to change. As a limited edition sells out, prices of the artwork are subject to increase and the price will be clearly indicated.

As these limited-edition prints are one of a kind, orders cannot be cancelled or refunded once placed.

Please note that any discount codes, including Friends membership, cannot be applied to limited editions.

Please note that member discounts don’t apply to custom prints, limited edition prints, or rugs, as these items are specially produced.

For UK and European orders, shipping taxes are included - the price you pay is the final price.

The USA are subject to Regular Carrier Charges, Handing Fees, Duty Payable Fee and Tariffs (COO). These are all calculated at checkout.

Where international deliveries are subject to local customs charges and fees, it will be your responsibility to pay these and they are not included in the cost of delivery.

Returns should be within 30 days from the date of purchase.

We want you to be completely happy with your purchase from us. If for whatever reason you aren’t, we do offer refunds on almost all products*, provided they are returned in the original condition and packaging.

*We cannot offer returns on our custom prints or Courtauld clothing, as they are printed to order. Returns of Courtauld Editions are non returnable.

If you are returning an undamaged order from the EU or rest of world following a change in mind, a restock fee of £15.00 will be taken off your refund once it has been returned to us.

Please note the delivery and duties for the USA are not refundable.

Yes we do. We offer a Click and Collect service. You will need to choose Pick Up at checkout.

Orders can be collected within 2-4 days of placing your order.

We will keep your order for 28 days from the day it is ready for collection. After that, we will return the item(s) to stock and refund you via your original payment method.

If you are unable to pick up your order within 28 days, please email us at shop@courtauld.ac.uk to see if it is possible to extent the holding period.
