This limited edition print is taken from a sketch Frank Auerbach made in pencil and black ink. He drew it on the street corner of Mornington Crescent close to his studio in Camden Town in London. Auerbach has worked in that same studio since 1954 and the surrounding area has long been a major subject of his art. He regularly makes sketches during early morning walks. Back in his studio, Auerbach uses drawings such as this one – full of energy and vitality - to feed into a particular painting that he is working on.

All profits go towards supporting The Courtauld.

All prints can be shipped to a UK address at an extra cost of £50. Those who require EU & international shipping will be charged £150.
Alternatively, a click & collect service will be available from The Courtauld Shop. All customers will be notified by e-mail when their print is ready to collect.

Please allow up to 28 working days from the date of purchase for all deliveries and click & collect.

Edition numbers will be assigned to the customer on a first come, first served basis.

The price may increase as the number of items for sale becomes lower.

As these limited-edition prints are one of a kind, orders cannot be cancelled or refunded once placed.

Please note that any discount codes, including Friends membership, cannot be applied to limited editions.

To use your discount online, enter the promotional code sent to you in your Welcome email at the basket or during checkout.

For UK and European orders, shipping taxes are included - the price you pay is the final price.

The USA are subject to Regular Carrier Charges, Handing Fees, Duty Payable Fee and Tariffs (COO). These are all calculated at checkout.

Where international deliveries are subject to local customs charges and fees, it will be your responsibility to pay these and they are not included in the cost of delivery.

Returns should be within 30 days from the date of purchase.

We want you to be completely happy with your purchase from us. If for whatever reason you aren’t, we do offer refunds on almost all products*, provided they are returned in the original condition and packaging.

*We cannot offer returns on our custom prints or Courtauld clothing, as they are printed to order. Returns of Courtauld Editions are non returnable.

If you are returning an undamaged order from the EU or rest of world following a change in mind, a restock fee of £15.00 will be taken off your refund once it has been returned to us.

Please note the delivery and duties for the USA are not refundable.

Yes we do. We offer a Click and Collect service. You will need to choose Pick Up at checkout.

Orders can be collected within 2-4 days of placing your order.

We will keep your order for 28 days from the day it is ready for collection. After that, we will return the item(s) to stock and refund you via your original payment method.

If you are unable to pick up your order within 28 days, please email us at shop@courtauld.ac.uk to see if it is possible to extent the holding period.
