    This  print is taken from a sketch Frank Auerbach made in pencil and black ink. He drew it on the street corner of Mornington Crescent close to his studio in Camden Town in London. Auerbach has worked in that same studio since 1954 and the surrounding area has long been a major subject of his art. He regularly makes sketches during early morning walks. Back in his studio, Auerbach uses drawings such as this one – full of energy and vitality - to feed into a particular painting that he is working on.

    All profits go towards supporting The Courtauld.

    All prints can be shipped to a UK address at an extra cost of £50. Those who require EU & international shipping will be charged £150. 
    Alternatively, a click & collect service will be available from The Courtauld Shop. All customers will be notified by e-mail when their print is ready to collect.
