Shipping policy

 

We aim to process and deliver your orders as soon as possible, so you can start enjoying your products. In the case of unforeseen circumstances that might cause a delay, we will get in touch to let you know as soon as possible.

UK delivery

Standard UK delivery costs £5.95, or is free for orders over £60. We aim to despatch all orders within 5-7 working days.

For larger orders, or if you’re ordering an original or special edition piece, there may be an additional charge for courier delivery. Our Edition Rugs and Custom Prints are dispatched from our suppliers and have a separate delivery charge and despatch timings. Read more here.

Depending on the size of your order, the average delivery time is 2-5 days from the date of despatch. All orders are sent using reliable services including Royal Mail and Parcelforce. 

Click and Collect

We offer a Click and Collect service that enables you to collect your order from the gallery shop in the lower ground floor of the Courtauld.  

Orders can be collected within 2-4 days of placing your order. Simply speak to a member of the shop team when you arrive at the shop and please have your order number or order confirmation email.

We will keep your order for 28 days from the day it is ready for collection. After that, we will return the item(s) to stock and refund you via your original payment method.

If you are unable to pick up your order within 28 days, please email us at shop@courtauld.ac.uk to see if it is possible to extent the holding period.

EU delivery

For European countries within the EU shipping Taxes, Duty and clearance fees are included - the price you pay is the final price.

If you refuse a parcel or wish to return it, a restock fee of £15.00 will be taken off your refund once it has been returned to us.

Any overweight, large items or orders over 5 kg may incur extra shipping charges. 

Custom Prints service is currently unavailable to ship to the EU. These prints will show as Sold Out. 

Limited Edition items will have separate delivery charges due to insurance costs.

Courtauld apparel have separate delivery charges as they are bespoke items sent directly from our supplier.

International delivery

Enjoy the Courtauld shop from anywhere in the world, with international delivery. The delivery cost will be calculated at checkout.

Where international deliveries are subject to local customs charges and fees, it will be your responsibility to pay these and they are not included in the cost of delivery. 

USA 

USA deliveries are subject to Regular Carrier Charges, Handing Fees, Duty Payable Fee and Tariffs (COO). These are all calculated at checkout. 

Exemptions: Certain products are EXEMPT from the tariffs, relevant to us are BOOKS and LTD ED PRINTS. These are protected as ‘of educational and cultural importance’ under the First Amendment of the US Constitution so there are no tariffs to pay- just duty, freight and handling charges.

Asia and Rest of world

Where international deliveries are subject to local customs charges and fees, it will be your responsibility to pay these and they are not included in the cost of delivery.
